Twin eBook April Johnston
The story line in this book is riveting; however the author could have added more description to further captivate the reading audience. It was a bit disappointing the actual guilty parties were not named, but perhaps there is a good reason for this omission. The lives of both twins were ruined as a result of these punks breaking into their home to commit robbery. So sad, so senseless. Hopefully, the true details will be released and the prosecutor will take another opportunity to obtain justice for this family.Product details

Twin eBook April Johnston Reviews
A story of a tragity written with beauty and strength. Derris Lewis is a strong young man who I hope will have a life of success and love. His story has impacted me and how I view media and the "facts" they portray. April Johnston is an author I hope to read more from in the future. Thank goodness there are people who are willing to stay strong, go out on limbs and write histories!
good reporter; well written
Well written, fascinating story. I couldn't put the book down and even cried while reading. Derris is such a remarkable young man. So glad he was proven innocent. I hope the family has justice for Dennis someday.
I felt this was a very well written, interesting and provocative story. I gives much food for thought about our law enforcement officials and the way they investigate and conclude guilt and innocence. So glad to see there were people who were willing to defend this young man because they believed in his innocence and went to great lengths to prove it.
Unlike most true crime stories, this one doesn't end on the courthouse steps. While the whole book is a tight story of tragedy and injustice, I found the final act to be the most moving. Johnston does a great job showing how Dennis's murder and Derris's incarceration touched a wide network of people, and how they came to understand their role in this story.
A well written book about the tragedy of these twins in Columbus, Ohio. I remember this case during my senior year. Only being a few month's younger than the twins, I remember hearing the case on the news and trying to follow it. It got so nasty in the media that I stopped following the case; So I never knew what happened in the end. I'm glad that there are still just people in the world to help out this young man. A must read.
Excellent book! I'm proud of my brother Derris and what he and April Johnston did with this story. It's hard to believe that all these things really happened, but the story is very accurate and true. "Twin" exposed my mother's drug habits; my sisters struggle, my extensive time in the streets, Dennis' recklessness and Derris' insecurities.
You would have had to know my twin brothers to know that this case was extremely flawed from the beginning. Overall, this book was well written and intriguing, even for those who were living through it.
